Introduction
Financial Planner / Wealth Consultant
Vermillion, a registered FSP and division of the Only Realty Group, a property focused business, is seeking dynamic, client-centric Financial Planners and/or Wealth Advisors to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work within a high-performing, fully integrated financial services firm offering wealth management, insurance and property solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families.

As a Wealth Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, leading the delivery of holistic financial strategies that protect, grow, and transition wealth. You’ll operate with autonomy while collaborating with internal and external experts across insurance solutions, investments, tax, estate planning, retirement planning, healthcare solutions and employee benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
-
- Lead new client acquisition through referrals, networking, and structured sales processes;
- Develop and grow a book of business to include insurance sales and investment assets under management (AUM) and cross-sell/upsell as applicable;
- Deliver value-added and collaborative solutions via associate partners;
- Represent the firm’s practice philosophy and house view strategy to clients and colleagues;
- Follow the hunting and farming approach to sales.
Client Relationship Management

- Build and deepen long-term client relationships based on trust and measurable outcomes;
- Market and develop goals based financial planning strategies for clients;
- Facilitate ongoing flexible client reviews and adjust strategies to align with ever changing life goals and ambitions;
- Collaborate with property practitioners, attorneys, accountants, and advisors to support tax and estate planning.
Financial Planning

- Follow the practise financial planning methodology and process to ensure successful client engagement and outcomes;
- Create and implement holistic financial plans across risk, investment, retirement, estate, and tax planning as applicable on a single and or full needs basis;
- Develop an integrated portfolio management approach with clients wherein we are able to offer a one stop financial services solution aligned to their goals based needs and requirements;
- Remain up to date with trends and market intelligence information across the financial services spectrum to include amongst other economic and investment portfolio performance, allocations, new offerings ensuring we provide timely insights and remain best of breed;
- Present mission/impact insurance and investing strategies to clients and the market through available channels.
Compliance & Operations

- Ensure all activities are fully compliant with the FAIS Act and internal regulations remaining fit and proper at all times;
- Follow diligent practise processes;
- Work closely with administrative support to ensure compliance, seamless client service and documentation;
- Maintain accuracy of information and client records on practise CRM and or related financial planning tools.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Law, or a related field;
- At least one Professional Certification: CFP®, a Degree, NQF Wealth Management designation or similar and extensive knowledge of certifications not earned;
- Fais and Class of Business accredited – regulatory exams completed RE5 for representatives and or RE 1 for Key Individuals;
- Minimum 5 years of experience in wealth advisory or financial planning;
Proven track record managing high-net-worth clients or family office portfolios.
Knowledge Required
Wealth Advisors are team players and methodical business builders with experience and expertise as trusted wealth advisors serving the sophisticated needs of ultra-high net worth individuals and families. He/she must have an exceptional understanding of the full range of financial planning and or in wealth management and related products, services and processes. He/she must be able to operate in an autonomous and entrepreneurial environment.
